The Origin
A tool built inside a live production operation
Shrink Software was founded by the team behind Anu Sushi LLC — a multi-site institutional food manufacturer supplying hospitals, universities, and corporate dining through Sodexo and Aramark. After a failed ERP implementation left the operation with no real visibility into daily shrink, waste, or compliance status, the team built Shrink Manager from scratch.
Every feature was developed, tested, and refined across 10 active production sites before commercialization was pursued. Shrink Manager has been running in live production for over two years — generating real data, solving real problems, and earning the trust of operators who use it every shift.
We spun out Shrink Software LLC in 2023 to bring what we built to the broader institutional food production market.
