Shrink Software came out of Anu Sushi LLC, an affiliated multi-site fresh-food producer. When an $80,000 ERP project left it unable to see its daily shrink, the team built the tool it actually needed. That tool is Shrink Manager®.

Mission

Reduce the loss between what an operation intends and what actually happens.

Product shrink is the visible part. Loss also shows up as time, as information that arrives too late to act on, and as managers reconstructing what happened instead of deciding what happens next. Product shrink was where we started. It wasn't where the problem ended.

The problem showed up in our own kitchens.

Anu Sushi supplies hospitals, universities and corporate dining through Sodexo and Aramark. The records existed, on paper, in spreadsheets and in people's heads. Nothing connected the work to the data, so every question meant rebuilding an answer after the fact. The missing shrink number was the symptom, not the disease.

Shrink Software LLC was formed to bring the platform to other fresh-food producers.
